U.S.A Insurance Requirements

The following U.S. states require proof of insurance or bond on file before an oversize/overweight permit can be issued.

$300,000 annual bond or insurance.
AL Hwy Dept. as Certificate Holder.

AR Arkansas
$25,000/100,000/15,000 (or total $115,000).
House movers require damage bond.

DE Delaware
$100,000/300,000/50,000.

$500,000 CSL excluding cargo.

WI Wisconsin
$50/100/25 for loads ≤12' wide, 16' high, 75' long & ≤120,000 GVW. All other loads $100/300/100 or $600,000 CSL.
For loads >16'W or >100'L: $200,000 casualty insurance or $600,000 CSL.
Min. insurance $750/500/10. 		14+ Days

No certificate on file required, but proof of insurance must be kept in the cab of the truck.
